The annual search for student housing has begun.  Students looking to attend college or university in the fall are beginning to do their searches in hopes of gettting first dibs on the better rental properties that are available. 

Many students of course will wait until the summer months however those students often find that the best rental units are already taken.  Landlords often have students stay with them for more than one year however those that have vacancies coming this fall are advised to post their listings sooner rather than later.  Although not a rule, some studies have shown that your best renters are the ones who search early on.  The studies suggested that organized people have a tendancy to be your best renters.  By advertising early, you have the largest possible audience of students to choose from plus you may face less competition as many landlords also wait until the summer to do their advertising.

Bottom line here...advertise early, get the best students and enjoy your summer without having to worry about carrying possible vacancies once the school year has started.
